What makes Wollondilly Anglican College the right choice for you?

Choosing a school for your children is one of the biggest and most influential decisions that you will make for them. Thank you for making the decision to send your children to Wollondilly Anglican College. I, and the rest of the College staff, take this responsibility very seriously. We are committed to providing your children with an outstanding education. However, we know that education is much more than report grades; at Wollondilly Anglican College it is our aim to see lives transformed. Transformation implies “a big change”, not simply a gradual progression.

We want to see every student making great progress academically as they develop great learning behaviours and, in time, achieve the academic outcomes that they are capable of achieving. In addition, we want to see the character of young people transformed. Character development is critical to support long term positive outcomes. We want all students to develop the right attitude to learning and work, from ‘enduring’ classes to actively engaging in their learning as they recognise that learning is important and even fun.

We want our students of all ages to engage in respectful relationships that are built on genuine care and support for each other; and not a superficial level of friendship either, but a genuine friendship where they want the best for their friends and they are willing to be selfless in order to serve others. Most importantly, we want to see lives transformed through a relationship with our Saviour, Jesus. We know that a life lived with Jesus is a life of hope and peace. We know it is not always easy, but Jesus provides us with true direction so that we can live purposefully for him in our lives. When someone accepts Jesus as their Saviour, their life is transformed; they will never be the same again, and we hope and pray that your children will experience this life-changing relationship.
