Prayer Breakfast
Dear Parents and Students
Thank you for your support and encouragement regarding the Christian discipleship and development initiatives that Wollondilly Anglican College have begun this year. It has truly been a privilege to be involved in these groups that have been solely focused on encouraging and supporting Christian students.
I would like to extend an invitation to you about another opportunity for Christian fellowship that will be occurring later this year. The College will be holding a prayer breakfast on the morning of the College Working Bees in both Terms 3 and 4. This will enable us to gather together in Christian fellowship and commit some time to pray for the College, our local community and the broader world. It is a great chance to join together, and I would like to extend this invitation to not only parents but also the various students that have been involved in these groups throughout the year.
Our Term 3 Working Bee is planned to be on Saturday, 3 September. A bacon and egg roll will be available for breakfast from 8.00 am – 8.30 am. We will then move into a time of prayer from 8.30 am – 9.00 am. After this, there is another great opportunity to continue to invest in the College community via the College Working Bee.
I completely understand the busy schedule all of us have on the weekends. There are many competing factors and commitments. Saturday is normally full of community sporting events along with various other activities. However, this is a fantastic opportunity to continue to partner together in Christian fellowship. May I encourage you to prayerfully consider attending.
For catering purposes, please RSVP by Friday, 26 August.
We Looking forward to hearing from you.
In Christ.
Kind regards
Matthew Roberts
