PDHPE
Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) aims to equip students with the knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes that are important in helping to make positive choices that protect and enhance the health of themselves and others and safety and wellbeing in varied life situations. Students apply, appraise and critically analyse health and movement concepts in light of God’s intended purposes and created design. Through a range of movement experiences, students practise, develop and refine physical, cognitive, social and emotional skills necessary for leading a healthy and physically active life. Through PDHPE, students also develop self-management, interpersonal and movement skills that help them become empowered and socially responsible citizens.
